Phantex Analyzer – Efficient and accurate sampling for the sugar industry
After almost five years of development and practical experience at Cosun Netherlands, analyzing sugar beet sample data has been reinvented. With the Phantex Analyzer, we offer a robust, user-friendly and fast system specifically tailored to the requirements of the sugar industry.
The analyzer is designed to run intensively on a daily basis, with a logical, maintenance-friendly layout and a clear user interface. With a measurement speed of up to 120 samples per hour and extreme accuracy, it is the backbone of modern sugar analysis.

Integrated technology, smart construction
The analyzer is made up of separate mechanical (fluid) and electrical sides. This layout prevents malfunctions, increases reliability and makes it easy for the operator to replace consumable parts himself.
The Phantex analyzer samples fully automatically and can be operated via a large 27-inch touch screen, which displays historical readings, live readouts, any error messages and much more clearly and intuitively.
Measurement principles
- Potassium (K) and Sodium (Na): Via an in-house developed flame photometer, stable and fast.
- α-Amino Nitrogen (N): With our in-house developed double-beam colorimeter, optimized for accurate analysis.
Both measuring instruments are internally developed, optimized and manufactured by Phantex and achieve a measurement accuracy of ±0.05 mmol/kg beet.
- Sugar content (Pol%):
Integration with existing polarimeters is possible, or supplied as standard with the latest SCHMIDT & HAENSCH Saccharomat V (International Z-scale). - Glucose/fructose (invert sugars): Optionally expandable with an interface for the Dr. Müller Super G Invert.

The Phantex Analyzer is ready to interface with superordinate systems and external devices. Via CAT6 we easily connect our internal PC as well as Siemens PLC to:
